‘Black Dynamite’ Animated Series Set To Air Police Brutality with Tyler, The Creator & Erykah Badu

Actor Michael Jai White serving as the voiceover for the rather eponymous figure on ‘Black Dynamite,’ in the show’s short existence, the animated series has not only done wonders for Adult Swim rating wise, but along with its popularity several big names have already participated or generously lent their voices to the cartoon in the last few years.

Singer Erykah Badu, who once appeared on the show, will now be returning to lend her duties again, where she will reportedly be joining and starring alongside Odd Future’s own, Tyler The Creator. Dubbed as “The Wizard of Watts” episode, which will air next month (on January 10 at 10:30pm EST), the musical episode will center on the headline-grabbing issue of the moment: police brutality. While away for a little stress-free vacay, Black Dynamite returns back home only to find out that all is not well in the streets of L.A. and is belted with a brick and met by riots going rampant in Watts.

With all the unfortunate situations and/or incidents currently occurring stateside, this episode will certainly be a social eye-opener – well, despite its trivial mood at times – which is the series’ niche. News spotted at Spin.com.
